‘Kids To School’ Project
Calling all disabled parents and/or guardians of children aged between 5 and 16 years!
Kids To School is a one year Project, funded by the Big Lottery. DPACT will collect data on numbers of disabled parents who experience problems getting their children to and from school because of the parent’s disability. We will also consult all interested parties.
In this way, we intend to both identify the cause and extent of the problems affecting this group and invite all concerned to suggest innovative solutions to them. We will write a report and make recommendations based on our findings after we have finished consulting parents, schools, the Council and other interested parties.
DPACT understands that such a study has not been considered before and that the information we wish to utilise has not previously been collected. However, we cannot achieve anything without your help so please complete and return our questionnaire.
